Rudolph was 75 years old when this photo was taken in 1977. Born in Sinoloa State, Mexico, March 2, 1903.
He was part of the first wave of Mexican immigrants (1928) working as a Railroad spike driver.
His right hand was noticeably larger than the left.
He became a naturalized United States citizen on December 31, 1931.
In 1933, he worked as a busboy at the Spanish (not Mexican) Pavilion at the Century of Progress Fair.
In the Forties, he started selling at the Maxwell Street Market.
